Where I’m Traveling Next

And what destinations are filling my daydreams….

As an avid and frequent traveler, most people tend to greet me with the same two questions:

“Have you been on any great trips lately?”
quickly followed by
“Where are you headed next?”

And honestly… I love it.

I enjoy sharing my travel adventures almost as much as I enjoy planning them—whether it’s designing a dream itinerary for a client or mapping out my own next adventure. Travel has always been more than a hobby for me. It’s a passion, a creative outlet, and one of my favorite ways to learn about the world.

Trips Coming Up Soon

I always try to keep at least one adventure on the horizon (ok, let’s be honest… usually more than one). Having a trip to look forward to adds excitement to everyday life—and it also allows me to bring fresh, firsthand experiences back to the clients I work with.

Arizona Escape

Later this month I’m returning to Arizona for some relaxation-focused time in the Phoenix area while visiting a friend.

There’s something about Arizona that keeps calling me back. The desert landscapes, incredible sunsets, beautiful resorts, and endless sunshine make it the perfect place to recharge. I’ve gathered quite a few great recommendations, so if Arizona is on your radar, I have plenty of ideas to share.

If you’re looking for a unique travel opportunity, you might also want to check out Willow Florals’ upcoming retreat in Scottsdale this June—a wonderful combination of creativity, beauty, and travel.

England + Northern France

In mid-May I’m heading across the Atlantic for a week in England and Northern France.

After a couple of days in London, I’ll be boarding a short cruise with Windstar Cruises to Northern France, followed by a few days exploring Oxford before returning to London to attend the Chelsea Flower Show.

This will be my first time sailing with Windstar and I’m very excited to see if it lives up to its reputation. If you haven’t heard of Windstar, it’s a small-ship luxury cruise line operating a fleet of sailing yachts and all-suite yachts carrying only 148–342 guests.

The experience is often described as “yachting rather than cruising.” Their ships access smaller ports that larger cruise lines can’t reach, and their itineraries focus on destinations throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and Tahiti.

Another highlight? Windstar is the official cruise line of the James Beard Foundation, so I’m especially looking forward to experiencing their culinary program firsthand.

A New England Summer Weekend

In early July I’ll be heading to Providence, Rhode Island to spend a long Fourth of July weekend with close friends. I may even squeeze in a night or two in Boston.

New England in the summer is hard to beat—and celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country there feels especially fitting.

And yes… a lobster roll (or two) is definitely on the agenda.

Mediterranean Cruise Adventure

At the end of July I’ll be taking my first cruise with Cunard, sailing from Barcelona to Trieste, Italy (near Venice).

This itinerary is particularly dreamy with stops along the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Corfu, and Montenegro—all destinations that are brand new for me, which I love!

For those unfamiliar with Cunard, it’s a historic British luxury cruise line often associated with a more refined, classic style of travel. Think elegant ships, traditional afternoon tea, and a relaxed pace that appeals to travelers looking for a quieter, sophisticated experience.

Several close friends have recommended Cunard to me, so I’m very excited to experience it myself.

Every trip I take includes a bit of behind-the-scenes “research.” I’m always exploring hotels, discovering local restaurants, testing itineraries, and searching for those special experiences that transform a good trip into an unforgettable one. For example, cruising is a new frontier of travel I am embarking (literally) to learn more about!

Places Filling My Daydreams

Of course, even with a full travel calendar, my mind is always wandering….

Right now, my daydreams are full of Greek islands.

As summer gets closer, the idea of another trip to Greece keeps finding its way back into my thoughts—returning to islands I’ve already fallen in love with while also dreaming about the many I haven’t visited yet (there are thousands after all).

The beaches.
The color of the water.
The history.
The welcoming locals.
And of course… the unforgettable food.

It’s hard to imagine a better combination.

If you haven’t been to Greece—especially the islands—I truly can’t recommend it enough. It’s one of those destinations that lives up to every expectation.

I also find myself constantly dreaming about returning to the South of France and Italy.

These are the types of places I could revisit again and again for the rest of my life. There are always new villages to explore, new restaurants to discover, and new regions to experience. Do not even get me started on the wine!

And despite what many travelers assume, there really isn’t a bad time of year to visit the Mediterranean. Traveling in the off-season often reveals an entirely different side of these destinations—quieter streets, deeper cultural experiences, and a chance to see daily life unfold.

Sometimes the most meaningful travel experiences come not from visiting somewhere new, but from returning somewhere you already love.

You might spend more time in the countryside instead of the city, visit during a different season, or venture into regions that most travelers overlook.

Of course, plenty of new destinations are on my mind too.

Croatia for late-summer island hopping. Seeing what all of the chatter about Albania’s beaches is about.
Hiking and soaking in the alpine beauty of Switzerland. Experiencing the raw, untouched frontiers of Alaska.
And someday finally making it to Asia to explore Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Like most travelers, my list is… fairly endless.

Where Are You Going Next?

While I’m always excited about my own upcoming travels, I get just as excited helping others plan theirs.

If you’re dreaming about your next trip—whether it’s a bucket-list destination, a relaxing escape, or a place you’ve always wanted to return to—I’d love to help you plan it.

Because another question I get asked quite often isn’t just:

“Where are you going next?”

It’s also:

“Where should I go?”

And helping answer that question is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Feeling inspired? It is NOT too late to get a trip booked for summer 2026!
